Expertise and Qualifications
General Contracting, Construction Management and Design-Build experience related to estimating, project management and senior executive management with expertise in new construction, renovation, and retrofit projects.
Tim is responsible for all operations, including executive management functions, field production, quality control, the supervision and coordination of all project management staff, internal reporting systems, all activities relating to operations including, preconstruction, construction, contract negotiations, contract interpretation, multiple contract coordination, change orders, safety management, shop drawings/submittal processing, and as-built documentation.
Tim has been active in the West Orange Community with organizations such as the Committee of One Hundred and One, The West Orange Political Alliance, Boy Scouts of America, and a leader in his local Church. He has been appointed to the West Orange Healthcare District Board of Trustees by three different Florida Governors and has held numerous positions within the organization, including Chairman of the Board; he also served on the Florida First Housing Corporation Board of Directors and is currently a board member of City of Winter Garden Community Redevelopment Advisory Board.
In 2020, Tim held the position of Chairman of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) National Executive Committee which oversees the activities of the national association, sets policy, and carries out the mandates of the ABC Board of Directors.
Prior to his national chairman role, Tim spent four years as the Southeast Region Vice Chairman of ABC. The Southeast Region included approximately 6,500 member companies in 13 chapters in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Over the course of his years with ABC, he has served on the ABC Bylaws & Policy, Chapter Development Committee, Construction Legal Rights Foundation (CLRF), Retirement Committee, Health and Safety, Budget & Finance along with the Trimmer Construction Education Foundation. At the local level, Keating has been president of the ABC Central Florida Chapter and ABC of Florida, the State organization.
Specific Work Experience
Project experience includes literally hundreds of construction projects, with emphasis on process/manufacturing facilities including food, dairy, beverage, citrus processing, meat processing, and cold storage; commercial projects such as, office buildings, financial institutions, and religious facilities; AHCA-inspected healthcare projects, medical office buildings and related institutional facilities.
